I admitted to a printer today that I think it’s easier to do penance in this life than in the next!
I used to be a regular caller at the printers when I edited the Fold magazine but they don’t see me as often nowadays. Today I was collecting the packed boxes of a new book to mark the 100th anniversary of Kealkill National School. Kealkill is in Bantry Parish in West Cork and is home to my sister Margaret, husband John and Eoin and Muireann. Eoin is in Senior Infants class in the local school.
The book, for which I did the final layout and design, was compiled by a local group of volunteers who gathered material from the local families as well as from emigrants abroad.
It is being launched on Saturday Sept 26th in the school. Copies of the book are available from the school for €20. Any profits will go towards provision of technology for the school.
The photos are brilliant Tom. Well Done!! again. you have a great eye for the photography.
